Barbershopping In Brass

Stepping out of his role as a symphony trumpeter, Roger Blackburn has combined his classical music training with his love for barbershop quartet harmony and created his own barbershop trumpet quartet. Through the technique of overdubbing, he single-handedly recorded all parts of these arrangements to create a quartet that existed only in his imagination. Roger has been involved with barbershop since the late '50s, as his father, Howard (Doc), sang baritone with the Louisville Thorobreds.
